US Congress launches probe into possible price-gouging on cancer drugs

Congress has launched a probe into unfair pricing practices by the companies that resell certain drugs to hospitals.  Representative Cummings claims that hospitals are being charged up to 80 times the actual cost of certain medications, while the suppliers themselves claim that they're responding to scarcity and demand.

While my drug of choice isn't listed in the article, I can say that a six week supply cost more than a used car.
